For the last two years, I’ve been using board games in my classroom as a tool to facilitate experiential discussion, jumpstarting reflective writing by providing a shared experience for students.

I’ll be speaking at the Serious Play Conference in Toronto on October 13th about how these workshops are designed, some of the most effective activities and writing assignments I’ve used in tandem with games, and which games are most effective in the classroom—a time and space that is notoriously short and limited in terms of what can be completed.

If you’re going to be at the conference, join me at 9am on Friday, October 13th for my presentation. https://www.seriousplayconf.com/
